I don't have time for a new project. I have too much to do as it is. So why, why, WHY am I stewing over this new idea I have in my head? Maybe because I made the mistake of telling my agent the gist of it and she said, "oh, I like that idea."? Because let me tell ya, if Nancy likes it then it would probably sell in a heartbeat.
But I'm caught up in revisions for BEFORE I WAKE and having a hard time concentrating. Terrified the book will end up crap. It's my first Urban Fantasy and I want it to be good, damn it!
So maybe that's why I like my little 'secret' project so much. It's not under contract and it doesn't matter when it's finished. Of course now, I want to finish it because my agent liked the idea and I could probably sell it.
Someone just bash me over the head, will ya? I have to finish revisions and then write a new book for December. I don't have time for new ideas. Argh.
